What This Idea Means
Mineral Wash combines varying opacities of blue and grey across the head. Some strands appear deeply saturated with indigo, while others look weathered to a soft, semi-sheer stone grey.
How to Achieve It
- Base Prep: Multi-tonal lift (Level 8 through Level 10 variations across lengths).
- Color Wash: Apply an all-over mineral wash toner consisting of blue-violet slate diluted with 50% clear developer.
- Processing: Massage the color through the mid-lengths by hand to create varied, organic saturation.

- Raw Edge Finish: Keep the very tips of the hair lighter than the mid-lengths to emulate an unpolished stone.
